Yes, you read it right. Water shouldn’t be consumed right after your meal and also right before the meal for that matter and here’s the reason:
When you eat food, temperature inside your stomach increases which enhances the process of digestion. And if you drink water before or after the meal it decreases the temperature which slows down the digestion process.
If the digestion process is slow, the energy you’d getting will also become slow. So, I would suggest you to stop drinking water at least half an hour before the meal and one hour after the meal.
It sounds very difficult but you gotta try as it’s super beneficial for you and your body will adopt this process within a week. Because all the health problems will start from indigestion.
